Menus refuse to work

I have downloaded XSCGarden and XSCAlphaBrisk. I am using DNN 6.2.9 on IIS 6 and Windows Server 2003 R2. The menus don't work for me on either of these skins. I am using XSCAlphaBrisk on another application in DNN 7.1.2 on IIS 7.5 and Win Server 2008 R2 and am very happy with it. So I believe that the DNN or IIS versions may be making the difference. The site works as configured using the Dark Knight skin included with DNN 6.2.9. Just changing the skin to either Garden or AlphaBrisk ...

Change images on banner

I recently started maintaining www.route66magazine.com and am new to the DNN format. How do I change the car/trailer image and rotating gif at the top of the page Those images have remained unchanged for a long time. It has something to do with the skin, called route66, but I can't figure out how to modify it. Please help... thanks!

Skin showing in admin but not on site

Hi, I have uploaded and applied XSCModernBiz to a DNN 6.1 website. It works fine in the admin/host area but as soon as i click on the home button it reverts back to the original skin. What do i need to do to apply it to the whole site Thanks.

Hi, I tried to load the terrific skin XSCoutside but get an error 'Failure A newer version of this package is already installed - 1.0.2. which I think refers to the Radmenu, I have 1.0.2 in stalled and the skins tries to install 1.0.0 Is there any way round that

First of all, thanks again for the great site, you do some great work. I have what I hope is a simple question. Different skins for different portals

Hi guys, I have a site set up in 4 different languages. I have different skins for each portal so I can display the correct language options on each. I am having trouble applying the skins to different portals. When I am applying a skin to the Polish portal for example, the skins appears on the admin pages but nowhere else Is that there are different skin type for home / content / admin pages Any help would be appreciated. Neal P.S. my DNN version is 04.08.04

I can't see my added modules to my page

Hi All,
I am learning how to create skins. My skin is correctly applied to my page but when I add a module I can't see the new module in my page. Could anyone tell me what is wrong with my skin
Also I created a page with the default skin. I added a common module and I inserted an image. It works well but when I try to apply my new custom skin I get the error message below:

Hi, my XDNewBlue has a dnn standard 3.5.1 blog on it. I am using 5.1.2. But the drop down for editing etc is appearing in the common tasks area of the page I also read some post saying I should add ProviderName='DNNMenuNavigationProvider' to my dnnAction tags in my ascx files for the 4 XDNewBlue files - was this wrong Maybe this caused the problem Without this Navigation Provider, I get an error trying to install the blog module to a page - with it, it installed ok. ...

Menu bar problem

I downloaded a free skin (XD5FBSoftware) to make a site and when I put in the logo the picture went behind the menu bar and the bar became transparent. I really like the look of it but my problem is now the hover effect doesnt work and the links in the menu bar to other pages dont work it just clicks on the logo picture which is a link to the page itself. Is there away to bring the menu bar to the front Thanks in advance...
