    Hello,
In the readme file it says that i need to click on host >> skin but i do not see that option i am using latest version of DNN.

I go to host > Module Definitions >> i get this message

This package does not appear to be a valid DotNetNuke Extension as it does not have a manifest. Old (legacy) Skins and Containers do not contain manifests. If this package is a legacy Skin or Container Package please check the appropriate radio button below, and click Next.

I select skin and it says it installed it. But when i go to admin >> skins >> select f5businessred i get this message

No Skin Files Exist In Folder

    Thanks for your help.

Ok - Firstly - you need to make sure you are using a skin for DNN5 - i'm sure you downloaded the right one but people have downloaded the wrong ones and been caught out.

Secondly - you need to Extensions - NOT modules - it's a skin extension

Thirdly - out of curiosity, did you unzip the download file? It's zipped within that.

Nina, Thanks for your reply. the read me file says " this skin is for dnn 5 only".

I also went to extensions and installed it through there and it still doing same thing.

I have also unzipped the main folder and i was only uploading the second zipped file.

    Thanks

I'm a new DNN user and am experiencing a similar problem - same message as amit when I go to load the ZIP file using extensions installer. When I opened the ZIP file I have 2 package which appear to be identically named (one a ZIP file, one a folder). I have selected the ZIP file to install on DNN, and get the same message as amit. When I select skin it seem to load OK. When I go to Admin>Skins, the name of the skin appears. When selected I get a message that "No skin files exist in folder". I have tried to "Parse the Skin Package" and this makes no difference either. I'm stuck. Help!

I obviously screwed that up enough times, because now it works! It helps BIG TIME when you unzip the files before installation.

Yup got the same error until I figured out there are zipped files inside the zipped file so you have to unzip the first layer until you are left with two zipped folders, one for Skins and one for Containers. You're trying to install the top zipped layer and that won't work.
