2004 was a big year for DotNetNuke, in fact one of the biggest years until the release of DotNetNuke 3 & 4 time frames.

To help kick off the concept of skinning - a competition was held whereby members of the public were invited to participate in a competition where their skins were voted on as to which was the best one.

It was broken up into a few sections -

The most popular overall
The most original
The best business skin
The lightest skin

All of these skins have been repackaged for both DNN 3, 4 & 5 now so you can download them and enjoy them. Some alas, were not quite as cool as the others, but that's the nature of the game and they give a good representation of the diversity of skinning.

If you want the original DNN Skinning competition skins then you'll need to download the PRE DNN 5 versions as they are packaged in there.

We will be bringing all the 2010 Skins into the website as we check and repackage them with indications on which version of DotNetNuke is required to make them work. We will have code snippets available to let you add in different menus and images and really personalise them.
